JANUARY 9th, 2022

Notice of Call and Invitation to the UUCS Annual Meeting

Please save the date – January 9th, 2022, and plan to attend the Annual Meeting of the members of UUCS.  Because we have yet to conquer this persistent virus and continued recommendations for keeping large gatherings to a minimum, our meeting will again be held via Zoom.  The Board believes this is the correct approach to keeping our members safe, and although we prefer to meet in person and to celebrate the year, it is not advisable to do so.

It is important that we have a quorum to conduct the business of the Church, so set aside the date, and the time to join us.  Sunday, January 9th at 2:00PM on zoom.

Since we have been using Zoom now for over a year, we are hoping our members and friends feel comfortable in signing on and joining us on January 9th. If you need assistance, please contact Sherry or Rev Sam so we can see what can be arranged.

The following is a tentative agenda; you will receive a full packet of information closer to the meeting date. It will include the formal agenda, candidates for Board of Trustee, and for the Nominating Committee, the Proposed 2022 Budget and any additional information you will need for the meeting.

  • Call to Order
  • Determination of Quorum
  • Approval of the Minutes of the 2020 Meeting
  • Reports of the Minister, President, Treasurer
  • Old /New Business
  • Report of the Nominating Committee
    • Congregational Vote
      • (Board Position and Nominating Committee members)
  • Presentation of Proposed 2022 Operating Budget/Vote
  • Presentation of Volunteer of the Year Award
  • Closing

In keeping with our commitment to conserve, we are sending this notice by email, as well as the full information packet which will follow on January 6th.

We are looking forward to having you all join us.  Sunday, January 9th, 2022, at 2:00.   The link to the Zoom Meting will be included in the Information Packet.

Yours in faith, friendship, and continued commitment to UUCS

Sherry Robinson, President

Rev. Sam Schaal, Transition Minister
